Good music, good food, and good people. The Campaign for Working Families’ 2019 Season Kickoff brought together nearly 150 guests–partners, sponsors, funder, volunteers, staff and friends–all of whom make the work of free tax prep and money-saving benefits happen.

Held at Tendenza by Cescaphe in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, the evening featured live music along with a 50/50 giveaway, raffle baskets, and a silent auction for Phillies box tickets and a Philadelphia Eagles package that included a signed football and photo by 2019 Campaign for Working Families spokesperson Wendell Smallwood.

Campaign for Working Families CEO & President Mary Arthur is featured on PHL17 In Focus, a weekly program spotlighting people and organizations in the Philadelphia area who are making a difference for the community.

During the segment airing Saturday, January 26, 2019, Mary talks free tax prep for low to moderate income families as well as a special day to provide free tax prep services for government employees affected by the nation’s historic government shutdown.
